Geology and Mining Unit provides technical suggestions to the District Administration and State Government in Mineral Administration. It includes processing, grant of mineral concessions, collection of mineral revenue, ensuring safe and systematic environmental and eco-friendly mining activities. It covers mineral conservation aspects and minimum permissible damage during WINNING THE MINERAL WEALTH of the State, as per Acts and rules framed by the Central and state Government time to time.
